Need a SIE Exam Study Schedule for the Holidays? Here’s a Little Help

It’s that time of year again. The holidays are here! But, what kind of holiday will it be if you have some SIE Exam studying to do? In this post, I am going to cover how to approach your SIE Exam study schedule over the holidays.

Jingle Bonds

Despite a festive mood in the air, you have to hit the books. So what’s the most effective way to study for the SIE Exam when you are home for the holidays? First, stake out a quiet place where you can get away. I don’t mean find an open part of the couch while the TV is blaring with holiday classics. What I mean is, try and find a quiet room in your house, or drive to the local library and set up shop. Your family will understand if you have to go study for two or three hours if it means your job.

In addition, set up your SIE Exam study schedule with study sessions allocated for the mornings. Studies show that the large majority of us are sharper in the morning, and can absorb more material. Use this valuable time to read, do practice questions, and/or go over your SIE exam study material. A failed SIE exam is often the result of a lack of efficient studying. Don’t expect to read over the material once and then be ready for the exam. Especially if you have no background in finance. It might be harder than you think.

Can’t Stick to an SIE Exam Study Schedule?

Ok, shameless (but sincere) plug coming up: Try using a SIE exam tutor. For real though.

Why?

Because, setting an appointment with a SIE tutor will make sure that you commit at least an hour of your holiday to SIE exam study time. If you go this route, whether you decide to go with us at Professional Exam Tutoring, or someone else is totally up to you. But, either way, you can usually find cheaper online SIE exam tutoring options than in-person. So if you are away for the holidays without access to in-person SIE exam tutors, it’s no problem. An online tutor will not only make sure that you get an hour of studying in, but they can usually help accelerate your learning. In my experience, on average, I can cover in one hour what might take the average student 3 hours by themselves.

Take Some Time to Relax

Of course I highly encourage you to spend a lot of time with family and friends. However, after you’ve watched Elf for the fifth time, you can probably spare an hour for some SIE exam study time. Even if you dedicate 12 hours to friends and family, take 2 hours in the morning (with a hot cup of coffee) to read over your notes. Even a little bit will help!

Overall, some SIE exam study time is better than none. Do your best to get through the SIE exam study material, especially if your job is on the line. Book a tutor if you need to. Your boss will only care that you passed the test, not that you gave up that extra cup of eggnog to study. You can do it! Good luck!
