What You Get With a Series 7 Tutor from Professional Exam Tutoring

The content we cover (typically from STC or Kaplan) will be the same but the practice questions are slightly different. Since the pandemic, most tutoring, at our company and most of those in NYC, have gone online. In very special cases, do we meet in person, but since students can record sessions that they can review later, most opt for online. We should note that there is no difference in the content taught online vs in-person.

Where to Study? For safety reasons, most Series 7 tutors New York City has to offer start out in a neutral setting. The first lesson is typically at a coffee shop or office space. If you prefer to study out of your home but don't want an online tutor then we can relocate after the first or second session. The environment is important, and helps maintain focus. I usually leave this up to the student after our first meet-up. The student is much more informed as to how he/she focuses best.

What to Expect? You will receive customized notes for the topic you'd like to cover. Any examples we write out, or review during the session you can keep as well. After we spend a short amount of time reviewing the notes, we will also take time to do practice questions. This will help reinforce what you've just learned. It will also prepare you for the types of questions you'll see on the exam.

What else? As a bonus, I typically allow students to email me when they have one-off questions. I may not be able to respond right away but I do my best to get back to you within 24 hours. There is no charge for the time it takes to answer your questions. I also offer guidance, or advice for those curious about career options. I have been in the financial services industry for well over a decade and can help illuminate what job possibilities are realistically available to you based on your background/education.

What if I would prefer online tutoring or a video course? That's totally fine too. Many of our students decide to switch to online tutoring after the first meeting. Some also take full advantage of our Series 7 Video Course. If you are crunched for time and would prefer the online route, then check out our Online Series 7 Tutor option if you prefer.
